CLASS RULES
So that our customers understand the standing rules of taking classes at The Fiber Co-op we are posting them here.
This is not meant to offend anyone and is not directed at any individuals, it just helps us make for a better classroom environment and we're all on the same page.
Classes must be paid for at time of registration.
You may call to put your name on the class list and we will be happy to take a credit card to secure the registration for your space. Your Supplies List will be emailed to you.
You may come by the store during regular hours and register for the class and receive your Supplies List at that time.
You will be told if the teacher recommends picking out your fabric ahead of time to make the class run smoothly.
You will also be told if the teacher has arranged to be at the store at a certain date and time to help in fabric selection.
Please arrive for your class at least 15 minutes ahead of class time so you can set up your work area.
Please do not bring food into the classroom as space is limited. A drink is fine as long as you have a sealed non-spillable container.
If it is an all-day class there will be refrigerator space for your lunch and a lunch break will be taken. THERE IS NOTHING WITHIN 20 minutes of our shop. (Sometimes if Jerry feels like preparing lunch we will let you know ;O])
IF you need to cancel your space in the classroom we need 7 days notice. After 7 days we have to pay our instructor according to the number of students we show on our registration so there are no refunds. This is just a business contract we enter into with our instructors in order to acquire the best teachers we can.
We understand that most quilt shops offer a discount to anyone purchasing class items. Since The Fiber Co-op already offers 20% discount on everything non-fabric and our fabrics are already discounted as much as they possibly can be we do not offer any further discount.
